# Draws Sheets Template

## Content

Our free draw sheets template is designed for **weekend bonspiels** running from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon. It is built in **Google Sheets**, so you can manage the draw, share it with curlers and keep track of results from any device.

**Weekend format**Tabs for different team counts – Friday evening to Sunday afternoon.

**Winner's & Loser's brackets**Enter scores in the gray boxes and move teams through the draw.

**Print or embed**Print the draw boards for the club or embed them on your website.

## How it works

- **Sign in to Google**[Sign in](https://accounts.google.com/) to your Google Account.
- **Make a copy**[Make a copy](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1HLHF34FlAWe9HrFG8ntEl1hcqQPjjY16bN_D4NqeTZo/copy) of the Draw Sheets template into your own Google Drive.
- **Pick your tab**Choose the tab that matches the number of teams in your bonspiel. Hide the tabs you don't need or customize the sheet to fit your event.
- **Add teams and sponsors**Enter the team names and add sponsor banners to personalize your draw.
- **Enter scores**As the bonspiel progresses, update the brackets with scores in the gray boxes.
- **Move teams through the draw**Winners advance to the right in the Winner's bracket. After a team's first loss, move them to the Loser's side.
- **Play the final**The final game is played between the Winner's side champion and the Loser's side champion.

## Why Google Sheets?

A draw on paper is only up to date in one place. With Google Sheets your draw lives online, so everyone always sees the latest results.

**Always online and up to date**Enter a score once and every curler sees the new draw right away – no reprinting, no outdated copies on the wall.

**On every curler’s phone**Players open the draw from a link or a QR code on their phone and check their next game, sheet and time from anywhere.

**You decide who can edit**Curlers can only view. You give edit rights only to the organizers or draw master – and can change that at any time.

**Work together**Several organizers can update the draw at the same time from different devices – the changes are saved automatically.

**Embed on your website**Put the live draw on your club or event website. It updates by itself whenever the sheet changes.

**Free and safe**Google Sheets is free with a Google account. Version history lets you undo any mistake, and you can still print the boards for the club.

### How to share your draw

With curlers (view only)Click **Share** in the top right corner → under **General access** choose **Anyone with the link** and the role **Viewer** → **Copy link**. Send the link by email or WhatsApp, or turn it into a QR code for the club notice board. With other organizers (edit)Click **Share** → type their email address → choose **Editor** → **Send**. Remove access again at any time in the same window. On a website**File → Share → Publish to web** → choose the tab → **Embed** → copy the code into your club or event website. The published draw updates automatically.

Tip: keep one person as the “draw master” who enters the scores, so there is never any confusion about results.
