About Arthur & Area Curling Club

Arthur & Area Curling Club: Community, Volunteering, and New Upgrades

Located at 160 Domville Street in Arthur, Ontario, the Arthur & Area Curling Club (AACC) has been a beloved athletic center since its construction in 1977. To secure its future, the club successfully petitioned Wellington North council for a $200,000 interest-free loan in 2025 to match provincial grants, funding a brand-new, modern artificial ice pad scheduled for completion in 2026.

The club relies entirely on the passion and hard work of its volunteer members to keep seasonal dues highly affordable. Offering various weekly leagues—including men’s, women’s, mixed, and skips’ choice—AACC is also famous for hosting high-spirited events like the Farmers’ Open, the RBC Mixed Open, and the themed Ladies’ Open bonspiels.
