About Delta Thistle Curling Club

Delta Thistle Curling Club: Fostering Inclusive Recreation Since 1972

Established in 1972 and operating out of the North Delta Recreation Centre on 84th Avenue, the Delta Thistle Curling Club (DTCC) is a premier winter sports center in the Lower Mainland. The club features six sheets of high-quality ice, widely recognized as some of the best in the Vancouver region, and serves a diverse membership from Delta, Surrey, and surrounding areas.

The club is highly celebrated for its innovative ‘Six-Pack’ leagues (six games, six drinks, six ends) and highly structured five-week Learn to Curl programs for both adults and youth (ages 8-17). Dedicated to inclusivity, Delta Thistle hosts a thriving wheelchair curling league, Special Olympics programs, and popular daytime Sturling (2-person stick curling) leagues, offering opportunities for everyone to enjoy the ice.
