Fort Macleod Curling Club: Fostering Community Spirit Since the 1890s

With a rich history tracing back to the late 19th century when early Mounties and settlers played on natural ice, the Fort Macleod Curling Club on 21st Street is one of the most historically significant rinks in southern Alberta. Today, the club operates a spacious four-sheet indoor curling rink, providing top-notch conditions for curlers of all skill levels.

The club runs active weekly leagues, including men’s, ladies’, mixed, and junior divisions from October to March. Strongly backed by passionate local volunteers and coaches, Fort Macleod Curling Club is dedicated to making the sport accessible. The facility features a comfortable viewing lounge and licensed bar, making it an exceptionally popular venue for regional bonspiels and corporate bookings.
