Gateway Curling Club: Small-Town Passion at the Bruce II Sports Centre

Operating out of the modern Bruce II Sports Centre on Grand Bay West Beach Trailway in Channel-Port aux Basques, Newfoundland and Labrador, the Gateway Curling Club is a beloved winter sports landmark. The municipal facility houses two sheets of meticulously prepared ice, alongside a swimming pool, bowling alley, and fitness center.

Gateway Curling Club is highly celebrated for its outstanding junior development program, boasting one of the highest youth enrollment numbers in the province. The club runs popular leagues for men, women, mixed, and junior players, supported by local sponsors. Off the ice, spectators and players gather to socialize and enjoy sweeping ice views in the comfortable viewing lounge.
