Heritage Heights Golf & Curling Club: Historic Oil Baron Legacy
Located on Garden Crescent in the historic town of Petrolia, Ontario, the Heritage Heights Golf & Curling Club is a premier semi-private athletic facility. The club’s rich history traces back to the 1890s when oil baron Jacob Englehart constructed a private six-hole golf course named Glenview, which was bequeathed to the town in 1922.
The facility expanded by building a dedicated four-sheet indoor curling rink in 1969, creating a premier year-round recreational landmark. The winter curling program offers competitive and recreational leagues, youth instructions, and regional playdowns from October through March. Off the ice, members can unwind in the fully licensed lounge and enjoy scenic views overlooking the course.
