About C.N. Curling Club
C.N. Curling Club: Serving Saskatoon’s West Side Since 1939
Established in late 1939 by passionate employees of CN Rail who constructed their first three-sheet rink out of old boxcars, the C.N. Curling Club is a historic landmark in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. In 1965, the club relocated to its current five-sheet home on Chappell Drive in the Montgomery Place neighborhood, where it remains the only curling club on the west side of the South Saskatchewan River.
C.N. Curling Club is famous as the home of Stefanie Lawton’s provincial championship rinks. The club runs highly active men’s, women’s, senior, and junior leagues on five sheets of pristine ice, with spectator seating for 220. Off the ice, members can enjoy a comfortable viewing lounge. During the summer, the facility converts into a bustling pickleball center featuring five spacious indoor courts.
