Club de curling Riverbend: A New Era of Excellence in Alma

With a proud heritage dating back to 1928, the Club de curling Riverbend on Rue de la Gare Ouest is a cornerstone of the Alma sporting community. In November 2023, the club entered a highly anticipated new era, reopening its doors after a major 20-month, $4 million municipal renovation project that completely rebuilt the facility and its ice beds.

The state-of-the-art club features premium, highly consistent sheets of ice, hosting active leagues for workers, retirees, and youth. Under the guidance of a passionate relaunch committee, Riverbend is highly focused on recruiting young adult players. The club is the proud host of the prestigious provincial U20 championship and the traditional Molson Dry Bonspiel, offering unmatched hospitality.
