About Galt Country Club

Lakeside Sportsmanship at the Private Galt Country Club

Established in 1906 along the beautiful Grand River Valley in Cambridge, Ontario, the Galt Country Club is one of the premier private clubs in southwestern Ontario. While famous for its masterfully designed Stanley Thompson golf course, the club established a highly respected indoor curling rink in 1965, creating a premier four-season athletic landmark.

The club features a high-quality four-sheet curling rink, hosting a wide variety of competitive and recreational leagues from mid-October to March. Galt boasts an elite competitive pedigree, serving as the home base for World Senior Women’s Silver Medalist Anne Dunn and Paralympic Gold Medalist Jim Armstrong. Off the ice, members enjoy refined clubhouse dining, locker room amenities, and signature social events.
