Galt Curling Club: Celebrating One of Ontario’s Oldest Ice Legacies

With a rich athletic history tracing back to 1838, the Galt Curling Club on Dunbar Road in Cambridge, Ontario, is proudly recognized as one of the oldest active curling clubs in continuous operation in North America. The modern, fully accessible facility features four sheets of pristine ice, welcoming players of all ages and backgrounds.

The club runs diverse weekly leagues, including morning senior tag draws, mixed doubles, and junior programs. Perfect for small to mid-sized gatherings, the club features a spacious upper-level social hall equipped with large TVs, Wi-Fi, a kitchen, and a licensed bar that comfortably accommodates up to 104 guests, making it a highly sought-after venue for corporate workshops and private events.
