The 2027 Montana’s Brier marks the 100th anniversary of the Canadian men’s curling championship. First played in Toronto in 1927, the Brier has been held every year since, apart from a pause from 1943 to 1945 during the Second World War. The centennial edition runs from February 26 to March 7, 2027, at SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon. The winner claims the Canadian title and Canada’s place at the 2027 World Men’s Championship.
Eighteen teams contest the championship. Matt Dunstone’s Manitoba rink – Dunstone, Colton Lott, E.J. Harnden and Ryan Harnden – returns as Team Canada after beating Kevin Koe’s Alberta team 6–3 in the 2026 final in St. John’s. The title ended a run of near misses for Dunstone, who had lost Brier finals in 2023 and 2025 and finished third in 2020 and 2021. The rest of the field will be settled through this season’s provincial and territorial playdowns.
Saskatoon is hosting the Brier for the seventh time. The city’s recent editions include the 75th-anniversary Brier in 2004 and the 2012 event, won by Glenn Howard’s Ontario rink. The most recent Brier in Saskatchewan was in Regina in 2024. SaskTel Centre hosts every draw, from the opening weekend through the championship games.
The first ticket packages went on sale in March 2026. The Championship Weekend package covers the final six draws (March 5–7) and costs $234–$270, while the Opening Weekend package covers the first six draws (February 26–28) for $120–$160. Weekday packages, with three draws on a single day between March 1 and 4, are priced at $66–$75, and full-event packages covering every draw are also available.
Single-draw tickets are scheduled to go on sale in October or November 2026, once the draw schedule is finalised, starting at $22.50 and ranging up to $60 depending on the draw, with youth tickets from $10. Tickets are sold online through Curling Canada and Ticketmaster and in person at the SaskTel Centre box office. All prices are subject to PST plus facility and service fees.
