The GSOC Masters is the second of five Grand Slam of Curling events in the 2026-27 season and takes place from November 3 to 8, 2026 at Co-op Place in Medicine Hat, Alberta. It is one of the most prestigious titles on the tour, and the ranking points on offer feed into the race for the 12 spots per division at the season-ending GSOC Players’ Cup. For Medicine Hat it is a homecoming of sorts: the Slam circuit returns to the city for the first time since 2013.
Sixteen men’s and sixteen women’s teams contest 22 draws of eight-end games, with both finals on Sunday. In each division, 12 teams qualify through the World Curling Team Rankings (cut-off date September 29), two are Satellite Event winners and two receive GSOC or sponsor invitations – a recipe that brings Olympic medallists and world champions to the ice.
Canada’s Rachel Homan defends the women’s title after beating Silvana Tirinzoni for her fifth Masters crown, while Matt Dunstone is the men’s champion after edging Ross Whyte in an extra end.
Alongside the main event, the U21 Jr. GSOC runs from November 5 to 8 at the Medicine Hat Curling Centre, with 16 junior men’s and 16 junior women’s teams; its finals are played at Co-op Place on the closing Sunday.
Co-op Place opened in September 2015 as the home of the WHL’s Medicine Hat Tigers and holds around 7,100 for hockey. Medicine Hat sits in the sunny southeast corner of Alberta along the South Saskatchewan River.
Passes are sold online through the venue’s ticketing partner and at the Co-op Place box office (Monday to Friday, 12–4 p.m. MT). Published package prices, including fees and taxes:
