Rock League is the professional curling league launched by The Curling Group, bringing 60 of the world’s top players together in six mixed-gender franchises. Its first season was played as a single week at Toronto’s Mattamy Athletic Centre in April 2026, where Brad Jacobs’ Shield Curling Club beat Chinami Yoshida’s Typhoon Curling Club 2-1 in the final to collect the $100,000 championship prize. Benoît Schwarz-van Berkel was named MVP.
For Season 2 the league goes on the road. Ottawa hosts the closing weekend of the regular season, 4–7 February 2027, after stops in Moose Jaw (7–10 January), Halifax (14–17 January) and Utica, New York (28–31 January). The playoffs and finals follow on 8–18 April 2027 at a venue still to be announced, so the Ottawa results will shape the playoff picture.

Season 2 rosters and any format changes will be confirmed by the league before the January opener.
The Ottawa weekend is staged at TD Place in Lansdowne Park, close to the Rideau Canal. Opened in 1967 as the Ottawa Civic Centre, the arena seats around 5,500, expandable to more than 8,500 with its upper bowl, and is home to the OHL’s Ottawa 67’s and the PWHL’s Ottawa Charge. It is one of Canada’s best-known curling rinks, having staged the 2016 Brier and the 2023 World Men’s Curling Championship. Fans travelling in early February arrive in the middle of the capital’s winter festival season, with skating on the Rideau Canal a short walk from the arena.
Ticket on-sale dates and packages for the Season 2 stops are still to be announced by Rock League.
