About Gander Curling Club

Curl Gander: Over 65 Years of Community Sport and Socials

Operating a spacious four-sheet curling rink on Airport Boulevard in Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador, the Gander Curling Club is a vital municipal wellness asset. Under the Newfoundland & Labrador Curling Association, the club has a proud history of keeping families active and healthy, serving players from Grade 1 to active retirees.

To ensure its survival as a vital recreational center, the Gander Town Council made a historic decision in 2020 to forgive the club’s outstanding facility debt. Today, the non-profit club is thriving, running popular mixed leagues, youth development programs, and classic winter bonspiels. Off the ice, spectators and players gather to enjoy hot meals and swap stories in the cozy viewing lounge and licensed bar.
