About Garrison Curling Club

Garrison Curling Club: Calgary’s Best Curling Experience On and Off the Ice

Operating a public six-sheet curling facility on 47 Avenue SW, the Garrison Curling Club (GCC) is a premier winter sports landmark in southwest Calgary’s Garrison Woods. The club hosts approximately 800 active members and 400 associate curlers, running popular leagues for men’s, women’s, rookies, seniors, mixed doubles, and stick divisions.

Highly committed to inclusivity, the club serves as the proud home base for the Calgary Wheelchair Curling Association. Garrison made national headlines in late 2024 when a remarkable team of local women—including two in their 80s—scored a near-impossible perfect ‘eight-ender’. Off the ice, their cozy viewing lounge and licensed bar provide a warm space with live music and hot food.
