About Highland Curling Club
Highland Curling Club: Over 70 Years of Regina Sports Heritage
Established on October 14, 1954, as the Imperial Curling Club, the Highland Curling Club on Broad Street is one of Regina’s most historically significant athletic centers. The club began with a focus on student access for Imperial School on three natural ice sheets before transitioning to artificial ice in 1958. It officially rebranded to its current name in 1970 and opened its modern six-sheet facility in 1975, remaining proudly debt-free since 1996.
Highland has a legendary competitive pedigree, producing numerous provincial champions. This includes the Jolene Campbell rink, which captured the Saskatchewan Scotties Tournament of Hearts in both 2016 and 2026, and the Matt Dunstone team, which took third place at the 2020 Brier. During the off-season, the concrete ice floor serves as a massive municipal event center hosting car shows and trade shows for up to 800 guests.
