About Highland Country Club

Highland Community Curling Club: Elite Play and Historic World Records

Established originally in 1922 as a private golf club on Highland Heights in London, Ontario, the prestigious Highland Country Club expanded in 1959 by constructing a dedicated six-sheet curling rink. In 2021, the curling division transitioned to operate as the Highland Community Curling Club, a member-led non-profit running independently of the golf course.

The club is highly celebrated as the proud recipient of the Guinness World Record for the longest marathon curling game. Hosting players from ages 6 to 96, Highland runs competitive flights, youth programs, and a highly popular Sunday ‘Learn to Curl’ school. The club is also the proud home base for both Fanshawe College and Western University varsity curling teams.
