About Aylmer Curling Club

Aylmer Curling Club: Over 65 Years of Community Recreation

Incorporated in 1957, the Aylmer Curling Club initially started as a three-sheet Quonset hut structure on the Aylmer Fair Grounds. Following safety concerns in the late 1970s, club members pulled together to fund and construct a modern, four-sheet facility at its current location, 115 Pine Street East, which officially opened in 1980.

With a membership of around 180 passionate curlers, the club runs active leagues for juniors, seniors, mixed doubles, men’s, and women’s flights. The facility features a comfortable viewing area and holds regular ‘Learn to Curl’ clinics, making it an incredibly welcoming place for beginners to try the sport.
