About High Park Club
High Park Club: Over a Century of Prestigious Sportsmanship in the West End
Formed in 1911 after early members outgrew playing on the frozen surface of Grenadier Pond, the High Park Club on Indian Road is proudly recognized as Toronto’s oldest active curling club. Operating out of a beautiful, municipally protected mock-Tudor clubhouse constructed in 1911, the club blends rich historic tradition with premier modern athletics.
The private facility features five sheets of meticulously prepared curling ice and two grass tennis courts, creating a unique dual-sport landmark. High Park Club hosts twelve distinct weekly curling flights, ranging from elite competitive men’s and women’s leagues to social mixed, bantam, and junior divisions. Off the ice, members enjoy daily dinner services, licensed bar amenities, and elegant lounges.
