The Granite Club: Celebrating 150 Years of Elite Canadian Sport
First established in 1875 as the Toronto Granite Curling Club on St. Mary’s Street, the prestigious Granite Club has spent a century and a half as a premier private lifestyle and social destination in Canada. Having moved to its current sprawling 22-acre campus on Bayview Avenue in 1972, the club is celebrated for its historic ties to the sport, famously hosting the first-ever McDonald Brier on its ice in 1927.
Designed for the exclusive use of its members, the curling program operates out of a state-of-the-art eight-sheet indoor arena, offering highly structured adult leagues, junior development academies, and casual social draws under the guidance of elite professionals. Members also enjoy access to indoor golf domes, a retractable-roof aquatics complex, clay tennis courts, and elegant clubhouse dining, defining a truly elite sporting experience.
