Irricana Curling Club: Fostering Community Sport in the Rec Complex

Located at 302 3rd Street in the welcoming town of Irricana, Alberta, the Irricana Curling Club is a central pillar of local rekreation and wellness. The club operates a high-quality four-sheet curling rink from November to March, hosting active men’s, women’s, co-ed mixed, and junior leagues.

To maximize the municipal asset year-round, the local agricultural society and Lions club secured grants to purchase a portable flooring system. In the spring and summer off-season, the dry ice floor is transformed into a multi-use gymnasium hosting senior drop-ins, badminton, and preschool playgroups, making it a truly versatile, year-round community asset.
