About Carseland Curling Club

Carseland Curling Club: The Heart of Wheatland County Winter Sports

Located on Main Street in the welcoming agricultural community of Carseland, Alberta, the Carseland Curling Club is a proud symbol of local volunteerism and sportsmanship. Operating under the umbrella of Curling Alberta, the club serves as a vital recreation and wellness anchor for rural families in Division 3 and the surrounding area.

The club is highly active in promoting winter physical fitness, running friendly recreational leagues, junior curling programs, and competitive matches. Carseland has become especially popular as a destination for ‘Sturling’ (the fast-paced 2-person stick or slide curling variant), hosting highly anticipated annual progressive draw tournaments that draw teams from across the province. With a warm viewing lobby and a dedicated volunteer crew, the club is an incredibly welcoming space to stay active.
