About Assiniboia Curling Club

Assiniboia Curling Club: 90 Years of Championship Legacy

Founded during some of the province’s hardest economic times in 1935, the Assiniboia Curling Club is celebrating its 90th anniversary of bringing people together. Located inside the modern Prince of Wales Recreation & Cultural Centre, the facility features a state-of-the-art four-sheet rink built in 2001.

With stadium-style seating that accommodates up to 1,000 spectators between the ice-level seating and the luxury home-end lounge, it is a premier destination for major curling tournaments. In honor of its deep historic contributions, the club was chosen to host the prestigious 2025 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship.
