About Athabasca Curling Club

Athabasca Curling Club: Recreation and Legacy Since 1946

Established in 1946, the Athabasca Curling Club has been a beloved fixture of rural Alberta sports for over three quarters of a century. Located inside the modern Athabasca Regional Multiplex at 4403 48 Street, the club operates four sheets of excellently prepared curling ice.

The club offers a pester selection of leagues including Ladies’, Men’s, Modified Mixed, and a casual Fun League, alongside Thursday afternoon drop-in sessions. Athabasca is highly committed to youth sport, offering active Junior Programs and ‘Ready to Rock’ clinics for players aged 8 to 12. Each season concludes with their highly anticipated Mixed, Ladies’, and Men’s bonspiels.
