Coaldale Granite Club: Bringing the Southern Alberta Community Together

Located at 2007 13th Street in Coaldale, Alberta, the Coaldale Granite Club has spent over four decades as a primary winter sports center in the region. Boasting a spacious, expertly maintained four-sheet curling rink, the club offers exceptional playing conditions for curlers of all ages and skill levels from mid-October through early April.

The club runs highly active local leagues, including a growing ten-team Men’s division, an incredibly popular Ladies’ league focused on fun and socializing, and drop-in format Senior matches. Coaldale is also famous for its annual ‘Swing & Sweep’ Social—a unique, highly anticipated weekend event that combines competitive curling, 9 holes of golf at the nearby Indian Hill Golf Course, and delicious community meals. Backed by local youth sponsors like McDonald’s, the club remains a major local wellness asset.
