Dawson Creek Curling Club: An Elite Eight-Sheet Destination in Northeast BC

With a rich history dating back to 1931, the Dawson Creek Curling Club is an iconic winter sports landmark located at Mile 0 of the Alaska Highway. Having evolved from a humble single-sheet rink into a state-of-the-art steel structure in 1999, the club has benefited from over $4.5 million in capital improvements, boasting a freon refrigeration plant and advanced sub-refrigeration heat lines to ensure world-class ice.

As one of the few eight-sheet clubs in Northeast British Columbia, the facility serves a massive regional community of curlers from both BC and Northern Alberta. The club features a fully stocked Pro Shop, a comfortable viewing lounge, and a spacious banquet hall. It hosts diverse nightly leagues, school physical education programs, and highly competitive cashspiels throughout the winter season.
