Bullhead Mountain Curling Club: Peace River Winter Athletics

Tucked away in the beautiful Peace River district of British Columbia, the Bullhead Mountain Curling Club operates as a major recreation hub for the District of Hudson’s Hope. Housing three sheets of well-kept ice, the volunteer-run club provides a fun and affordable way to escape the northern winter cold.

The club runs a highly popular Mixed League every Friday evening, complete with a local concession kitchen that serves hot meals. On Sundays, players gather for competitive Doubles and casual drop-in matches. Spectators can stay warm in the upstairs viewing lounge, which features a licensed bar, a pool table, and shuffleboard, defining a relaxed, family-friendly social environment.
