About Elmvale Curling Club

Elmvale Curling Club: Celebrating Over 150 Years of Heritage

Established in 1870, the Elmvale Curling Club is one of the oldest active curling clubs in Ontario. Having started as an outdoor natural ice rink, the club relocated to its current home at 14 George Street in the 1950s, installing man-made artificial ice sheets to improve and extend the local playing season.

True to its motto, ‘Fun with Friends,’ the club focuses on building deep community friendships, hosting active leagues for all ages and skill levels. Programs range from the highly social Friday Mixed and Monday Senior Stick draws to slightly competitive Tuesday and Thursday flights. With a cozy viewing lounge and regular summer fundraisers, Elmvale is a beloved local asset.
