About Elmira & District Curling Club

Elmira & District Curling Club: Fostering Community Sport Since 1956

Situated in the heart of Ontario’s beautiful maple syrup country, just 15 minutes north of Waterloo, the Elmira & District Curling Club on Eldale Road has been a cherished local hub since its founding in 1956. The club realized its dream of a dedicated home in 1965, constructing a modern four-sheet curling rink.

Today, the fully member-operated non-profit facility boasts matching rocks, a pro-shop, a licensed dining room, and an upgraded viewing lounge. Elmira is celebrated for its elite competitive pedigree, having been selected to host the prestigious 2026 Ontario Curling Championships. The club offers top-tier junior programs, Learn to Curl clinics, and various social leagues.
