Fort McPherson Curling Club: Northern Curling in the Mackenzie Delta
Located in the beautiful northern hamlet of Fort McPherson in the Northwest Territories, the Fort McPherson Curling Club offers an authentic, remote curling experience on natural ice. The club serves as a vital recreation, fitness, and wellness hub for the local Gwich’in community during the sub-arctic winter months.
Operated in coordination with the Northwest Territories Curling Association, the club provides locals with a great way to stay active, escape the cold, and socialize. Despite the challenges of playing on natural ice in the far north, the passion, community pride, and warm northern hospitality at this northern venue are unmatched.
