Grande Cache Curling Club: Multi-Generational Fun on Hoppe Avenue

Operating inside the modern Grande Cache Recreation Centre on Hoppe Avenue, the Grande Cache Curling Club serves as a vital winter fitness and social anchor for the northern mountain community. Governed by a dedicated Board of Directors, the non-profit club is highly committed to making the sport accessible to players of all ages and backgrounds.

Thanks to generous local partnerships, including major program funding from CST Coal, the club has modernized its equipment, adding custom foam ice barriers, new sliders, and grippers. The club runs a robust winter schedule from late October through March, offering competitive and recreational leagues, alongside a highly active, subsidized Junior program to cultivate the next generation of local skips.
