About Heather Curling Club

Heather Curling Club: Over a Century of St. Boniface Sports Legacy

First established on Christmas Day in 1915 as the St. Boniface Curling Club, the Heather Curling Club is a historic winter sports icon in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Recognized as one of the main Francophone curling clubs in the province, the club transitioned to its present eight-sheet facility on Rue Youville in December 1965.

The club made national headlines in 2024 by launching a state-of-the-art Regional Performance Hub and Development Centre in partnership with Curling Canada, equipping two sheets with smart brooms, speed traps, and video analysis tools used by elite teams like Kerri Einarson’s national champions. Off the ice, the massive facility is a highly popular summer wedding hall licensed for up to 600 guests.
