About Houston & District Curling Club

Houston & District Curling Club: Grassroots Warmth on Poulton Avenue

Operating a dedicated facility at 2175 Poulton Avenue in the friendly town of Houston, British Columbia, the Houston & District Curling Club is a vital winter sports and social anchor. Backed by strong small-town pride, the non-profit club is committed to promoting physical fitness and active socializing for all ages in the Bulkley Valley.

The club runs popular leagues from late October through March, including mixed, men’s, and ladies’ draws. The club enjoys exceptional support from local community partners, notably receiving funding from the Dungate Community Forest and CST Huckleberry Lodge programs to revitalize its equipment. With a cozy viewing lounge, the club remains a highly welcoming venue to stay active during the long northern winters.
