About Howe Sound Curling Club

Howe Sound Curling Club: Scenic Rocky Mountain Play in Squamish

Established in 1963 by a passionate group of local volunteers, the Howe Sound Curling Club is proudly recognized as the only dedicated curling facility north of Vancouver in Sea-to-Sky Country. Nestled inside the Squamish Valley Golf Club on Mamquam Road, the club respectfully gathers and curls on the unceded traditional territory of the Squamish Nation.

The facility features four sheets of meticulously maintained ice, operating a robust schedule seven days a week from October through March. The club runs popular recreational and competitive leagues, youth instructions, and regional playdowns. Backed by local community partners like the Squamish Days Loggers Sports Festival, Howe Sound Curling Club offers a warm, hospitable escape.
