About Kapuskasing Curling Club

Kapuskasing Curling Club: Active Winter Recreation in the Sports Palace

Operating inside the sprawling Kapuskasing Sports Palace complex at 68 Brunelle Road North, the Kapuskasing Curling Club is a premier winter fitness and social anchor. The club features a spacious five-sheet curling rink, celebrated in Cochrane District for maintaining exceptionally consistent and competitive playing conditions.

In late 2024, the club gained widespread praise by introducing a highly innovative Wednesday night ‘Scramble’ league. Conceived by chairman Justin Francoeur, the 4-week non-competitive format mixes up players of all skill levels weekly to establish a completely level playing field, encouraging social integration and helping beginners learn the game in a friendly environment.
