Kindersley Curling Club: Modern Ice and Accessibility on Second Street

Operating a premier six-sheet indoor curling rink inside the West Central Events Centre on Second Street East, the Kindersley Curling Club is a vital sport and social hub in Saskatchewan. The newly renovated facility features state-of-the-art energy-efficient LED lighting both on and off the ice, fully sponsored by local businesses.

To make the sport highly accessible, the club has utilized municipal grants to purchase specialized adaptive equipment, including delivery sticks that allow curlers to play from a standing or sitting position. Kindersley runs popular afternoon and evening leagues, hosts regional provincial club qualifiers, and offers free ‘Try Curling’ open-houses to welcome newcomers to the ice.
