Alberni Valley Curling Club: Vancouver Island’s Legacy on Ice
The Alberni Valley Curling Club, located at 3250 9th Avenue in Port Alberni, British Columbia, has been providing affordable, social recreation since its initial concept in 1950 and official opening in 1963. The facility features four sheets of ice where generations of local families have enjoyed the sport.
Known for its legendary camaraderie, the club runs popular leagues and hosts highly anticipated annual events like the Aurora Roofing Mixed Bonspiel.
