Glooscap Curling Club: Fostering Annapolis Valley Pride Since the 1930s

With a rich history celebrating over 90 years of active play, the Glooscap Curling Club at 17 Crescent Avenue in Kentville, Nova Scotia, is a vital municipal sport and social venue. The fully wheelchair-accessible facility features four sheets of high-quality curling ice and is managed by a passionate network of local directors.

The club is widely celebrated across Atlantic Canada for hosting ‘Tropicurl’—a highly popular, tropical-themed open tournament featuring costume contests, a champagne breakfast, limbo, and Saturday night dances. In addition to social draws, Glooscap is a trusted provincial championship venue, proudly hosting events like the Nova Scotia Police Curling Provincial Championship.
