Guelph Country Club: Exceptional Dual-Sport Legacy Since 1912

Established in 1912 by a group of local businessmen who introduced golf to the city, the prestigious Guelph Country Club is a historic landmark in Wellington County. While famous for its beautiful 1912 parkland golf course, the club took a historic step forward in November 1964 by opening a dedicated four-sheet indoor curling rink, starting an exciting new era of winter sports.

First operated as an exclusive private club, Galt transitioned to welcome full public access in 1998, preserving its strong family-oriented values. The curling division offers structured evening and daytime leagues from October to March, alongside drop-in formats. After throwing stones, members can enjoy delicious meals at the on-site ‘Jesse’s on the Green’ restaurant, defining a premier year-round recreational experience.
