Located on Boulevard Springer in the historic northern mining town of Chapais, Quebec, the Club de curling Chapais (often referred to as Opemiska) is a vital winter social and fitness hub. Boasting four sheets of well-kept ice, this welcoming club plays a major role in keeping the remote Nord-du-Québec community active.
Operating from October through March, the club hosts popular evening leagues, friendly local funspiels, and school physical education programs. Supported by a passionate volunteer crew and a growing junior curling division, Club de curling Chapais offers a warm, hospitable escape from the biting northern winters.
