About Club de curling Rouyn-Noranda
Club de curling Rouyn-Noranda: Securing a Legacy in the Copper Capital
Located on Rue Murdoch in the historic mining city of Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, the Club de curling Rouyn-Noranda is a vital winter fitness and social anchor for the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region. Operating out of the Dave-Keon Arena complex, this highly active club keeps local families, students, and mining industry workers physically active during the long northern winters.
In late 2025, the City of Rouyn-Noranda approved a major municipal borrowing project to fund a $375,000 state-of-the-art roof and insulation renovation for the curling rink, securing its playing conditions for decades to come. Offering popular social leagues, school programs, and regional challenges, Rouyn-Noranda remains an incredibly warm and hospitable winter home on the ice.
