Rock Creek Curling: Lafayette’s Six-Sheet Home of National Championships

Rock Creek Curling is a dedicated six-sheet curling center in Lafayette, Colorado, on the northern edge of the Denver metro area. Locally owned and operated, with co-owners Sean and Mimi Stevinson among its leaders, the club opened its purpose-built facility in 2021, offering more than 13,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space. USA Curling CEO Dean Gemmell has called it “maybe the nicest curling facility in the country.”

The building was made for big events, and it has hosted plenty of them since opening: the U18 National Championships from 2023 through 2025, the 2024 Everest North American Club Championship and, in February 2025, the U.S. Mixed Doubles Olympic Team Trials on the road to the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, along with multiple televised events.

Day to day, Rock Creek runs adult and youth leagues, Try Curling introductory sessions, instruction and clinics, bonspiels, and private and team-building events, serving curlers of all ages and abilities from across Colorado’s fast-growing curling scene.
