About Cochrane Curling Club
Cochrane Curling Club: An Elite Six-Sheet Rink in the Foothills
Established in 1913, the Cochrane Curling Club is celebrating its 114th season of bringing Foothills families together. Located inside the state-of-the-art Spray Lake Sawmills (SLS) Family Sports Centre at 800 Griffin Road East in Cochrane, Alberta, the modern facility features six full sheets of curling ice, plus two specialized short sheets for youth training and sliding practice.
The club operates an exceptionally busy winter schedule from October to March, running popular leagues for men, ladies, mixed, and open doubles. Committed to making the sport highly inclusive, Cochrane hosts thriving daytime ‘Sturling’ (stick curling) leagues for players with limited mobility, alongside an active junior development academy. Off the ice, spectators and players can relax in the comfortable ‘On The Rocks’ viewing lounge.
