Colonial Curling Association: Marlborough’s Club Finds Ice in Worcester

Colonial Curling Association is the club formerly known as the Marlborough Curling Club, founded in the mid-2010s to bring curling to Central Massachusetts. Today it curls in Worcester, the region’s largest city, on arena ice at the Fidelity Bank Worcester Ice Center downtown.

As an arena club, it lays out curling sheets on a hockey surface for its sessions. The club is a member of the Grand National Curling Club, the association for clubs across New England and the Mid-Atlantic, and of the U.S. Women’s Curling Association. Its neighbors include some of the oldest curling clubs in the country, such as Broomstones in Wayland and The Country Club in Brookline.
