About Nashua Country Club
Nashua Country Club: Curling in Nashua Since 1928
Curling at the Nashua Country Club goes back almost a century. Members first threw stones in 1928 on a pond near what is now the ninth hole of the club’s golf course, and the game moved indoors during the 1940s. Today the country club on Fairway Street in Nashua, New Hampshire, maintains a dedicated curling rink with its own ice and a warm room where players gather to watch the action through the glass.
The club’s curling section is a long-standing member of the Grand National Curling Club and the United States Women’s Curling Association, and it hosts several bonspiels each season. Its Christmas mixed bonspiel draws teams from well beyond southern New Hampshire, including rinks from the Utica Curling Club in New York.
The Nashua ice is also home to a second organization: the Merrimack Valley Curling Club rents league time at the country club’s curling facility, making Nashua one of the busiest curling addresses in the Granite State.
