About Hartford Curling Club
Hartford Curling Club: A 1908 Club Reborn in West Hartford
Hartford Curling Club carries one of the oldest names in New England curling. The club was founded in 1908, and the Connecticut Historical Society keeps a Hartford Curling Club item in its collection as a reminder of those early days. After a long break the club was re-formed in 2015, bringing organized curling back to the Hartford area.
Today the club plays on arena ice at the Veterans Memorial Ice Skating Rink in West Hartford, a town-run rink best known for public skating, figure skating and hockey. The rink was closed for renovations from late March to early September 2026. The club is a member of the Grand National Curling Club, the regional association linking curling clubs across the Northeast.
