About Irma Curling Club
Irma Curling Club: Where Summer Meets the Ice in East-Central Alberta
Situated at 5120 53 Avenue in the friendly village of Irma, Alberta, the Irma Curling Club is a beloved local sports facility and social pillar. The club operates a spacious four-sheet artificial ice facility, complete with a fully equipped kitchen and a large viewing lounge. In the winter, the club runs highly affordable recreational open leagues and senior sturling draws.
The club is highly renowned across the province for hosting the annual ‘Irma Summerspiel’—celebrating 39 years of summer curling fun. Held from late July to early August to coincide with the Irma Agricultural Society’s summer fair and parade, this massive festival draws competitive men’s, women’s, mixed, and youth teams from across Canada for a unique weekend of warm-weather play.
