Grand Manan Curling Club: Keeping the Fundy Community Connected

Located on Curling Club Lane on scenic Grand Manan Island, New Brunswick, the Grand Manan Curling Club is a beloved local sports facility and social pillar of the Bay of Fundy. Serving as a crucial winter fitness and social anchor for the remote island, the club plays a major role in keeping families, fishermen, and youth connected.

The club made global curling headlines in March 2012 by hosting Guinness World Record holder Camille Villeneuve—who has played in more curling clubs than anyone else—to throw stones for his milestone 700th club game. Grand Manan is famous for hosting its annual ‘Spiel on the Rock’ open tournament, active junior programs, and community bingos, representing the best of maritime hospitality.
