About Clare Curling Club

Clare Curling Club: The Pride of the Acadian Shore

Located on Connector Road in beautiful Meteghan, Nova Scotia, the Clare Curling Club has been serving the Municipality of Clare for decades. Featuring a high-quality four-sheet ice surface, this community-driven club is celebrated across Atlantic Canada for its outstanding Acadian hospitality and social events.

The club has a proud history of volunteerism, with member Delbert Comeau capturing the National Curling Club Volunteer of the Year award in 2004 for leading major facility renovations. Clare is most famous for its annual Gold Star Bonspiel—a popular open-format tournament that features competitive matches, local music, and a legendary Saturday night lobster supper.
