About Barrington Regional Curling Club
Barrington Regional Curling Club: Heart of the Lobster Capital of Canada
Located on scenic Sherose Island in Barrington Passage, Nova Scotia, the Barrington Regional Curling Club (BRCC) is a volunteer-led, non-profit society. Officially opened in January 2001, this modern, fully accessible municipal facility ensures that residents across Barrington, Clark’s Harbour, and Pubnico can enjoy the sport.
The club features a high-quality four-sheet ice surface, a fully equipped kitchen, a licensed bar, and change facilities. BRCC is most famous as the proud host of the annual ‘Lobster Spiel’—a massive, highly popular open tournament featuring cash prizes, weekend meals, and a legendary Saturday night lobster supper. The club offers recreational leagues, stick curling, and junior training from October to April.
